⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ben Hart is best known for being a runner up on Britain’s Got Talent in 2019. He returns to Edinburgh with his 6th solo show entitled ‘Jadoo’, this is his most personal show to date as he showcases magic from his Indian heritage drawing on the street magic performed by Jadoowallahs.

Performing in the round, Hart has nowhere to hide in this show, making some of these tricks even more impressive. The way this show has been crafted is ingenious mixing anecdotes about India with the tricks, early on he is able to mould the environment to one that seems mystical, reminiscent of a young Derren Brown.

What is so great about the crafting of this show is the variety of tricks on display here, at one moment, he is linking together rings from the audience, the next he is sticking a needle through his arm in a particularly unwatchable moment!

This show would be nothing without Hart himself, his stage presence is brilliant and he is hugely charismatic, instantly endearing the audience to him. I was fortunate enough to be apart of one of the illusions and have concluded that the man is well and truly magic.

Jadoo continues at Assembly George Square until the end of the month before embarking on a tour around the UK.
